Tosti Moscato d’Asti 2017, 5.5% abv

Made from the Moscatel grape this wine tends towards the sweeter side of the scale, with a hint of rose petals evident on the palate, thanks to a creamy film in of tiny, fluffy bubbles. Wyfold Vineyard Rosé 50th Anniversary 2015, 12% abv

We don’t feature many English wines so it’s good to see this one has been chosen to celebrate Laithwaites’ 50^th anniversary.  Oozing femininity, this fizz would fit into a New Year’s event with the girls. The palate hints at cherries and the finish is short and dry with overtones of roast chestnut and minerals. £29.99 per bottle.
