To fringe, or not to fringe…

I’ve been asking myself.  I’ve got quite a big forehead and I was thinking that a fringe might help to break it up or at least cover some of it!  I’ve not had a fringe since my late teens and it was such a horrendous experience I’ve not had one since.

I have been fed up of looking at my centre parting and wondering what I could do to break the style up a bit but the risk of getting a fringe cut in and hating it was too much to bear.  So what’s the solution other than tantrums and tears at hating your new bangs that won’t grow out for over a year?

I found these 100% human hair clip in extensions and thought trying one of those out wouldn’t hurt.  At least I can tell if I suit it or not.

Thankfully, my fringe arrived before my itch grew strong enough to phone the hairdresser.  The colour match was perfect so it was easy to look at as a whole head of hair.  The fact it’s 100% human hair makes it less squeamish to touch and it is easily stored in a net pouch.  You can buy similar fringes, in a variety of hair colours (I used dark ash brown) from Hairtrade.com

The decision was – no fringe!  Not the clip-in’s fault, it just didn’t suit me.
