Limited edition Guerlain Muguet to launch 1st May in Harrods

Legendary fragrance house Guerlain are releasing a special, limited edition bottle of Muguet on 1st May – exclusive to Harrods.  With only 1,349 bottles available, fragrance aficionados will be lining up to get their hands on this beautiful creation.

The story

In France, 1st May is widely known as “lily of the valley day” hence the inspiration behind this fragrance.  Each year a different take on the lily of the valley bouquet is released as a limited edition – this year it’s a “bright green” note to capture the spring freshness of this flower and the dew that hangs on them in the mornings.

The bottle

The style of this quadrilobe bottle has been in use since 1908 and this year is being used to house the Muguet.  The delicately embossed paper label also adds a touch of class and it is delightfully finished with the spring green thread around the neck of the bottle and a gold Guerlain seal.

Fresh green Lily of the Valley drying down to a jasmine, rose and lilac heart.
