LEONIDAS MEANS FRESH BELGIAN CHOCOLATES FOR ALL
Leonidas promises is to make luxury chocolate affordable to everybody, not just those with high disposable income. While their presence in the UK may be more discrete than other ‘elite’ chocolate brands, Leonidas’ attention to consumer awareness means upwards of 100 varieties of highest quality Belgian chocolates are available at any one time for your consumption. 100% pure cocoa butter and strictly fresh ingredients like fresh cream, Turkish hazelnuts and cherries from Italy are examples of the lengths Leonidas take to source authentic ingredients for their confectionery.
Leonidas’ milk, white and plain chocolates casings envelope more than 21 varieties of pralines, Napolitain chocolate squares lovingly wrapped in instantly recognisable packaging, delightful butter creams, ganaches, liquors, marzipans and six types of dusted truffles. Did we mention 12 plus varieties of fruit jellies and candied fruit? Or their no-sugar pralines and creams? Phew! It’s important to realise that Leonidas began as a praline confectionery manufacturer, which is why praline features so heavily on their selection.
Leonidas has eight shops in London. The *St John’s Wood branch recently re-opened to Belgian Ambassador cutting a ribbon over their new counter and members of the public sampling new and commemorative chocolate delights.
We particularly liked Manon Café, a sumptuous coffee butter cream with whole hazelnut encased in creamy white chocolate, and Louise, a caramel flavoured milk chocolate praline.

Future plans for St John’s Wood include a coffee service so you can combine a freshly brewed beverage with your chocolate experience.
*Branch address: 132 St John’s Wood High Street, London NW8 7SE
