FOOD, WINE AND DESIGN AT CAFÉ ROUGE’S KINGSWAY RESTAURANT
The newly refurbished Café Rouge on Kingsway, Holborn, is leading the way for the ‘New Rouge’ which recently opened its doors to customers. Café Rouge’s fabulous new ‘Rejuve’ menu and new look thanks to Keane design studio includes a Paris Metro theme and authentic French heritage fused with a classic and romantic style. Be seated among beautifully decadent mirrors, chandeliers, rouge leather banquettes, velvet curtains and intricate mosaic flooring. Whatever you fancy, the new Café Rouge’s décor will make you feel authentically Parisian without leaving the UK’s shores.
Wait staff with authentic French accent compliment the ambience, setting you in the heart of Paris. Menus include breakfast, hot, cold, a la carte (with up to four courses), and evening dishes of the day. You will find national dishes (think boeuf bourguignon) or snails available to order in a platter or in taster pots if you’re unsure of trying this national delight. Want to treat a friend? Then pick up a gift card or send a personalised ecard. Drinks menus include champagne (of course) served in ornate buckets and desert wines.
Kingsway’s Café Rouge, with its links to High Holborn, Aldwych and The Strand, lies on one of the major north-south routes through London. So it’s perfect for on-the-go workers to sample aperitifs, sharing platters or sumptuous desserts. The venue is also well placed for theatre land on the Strand so pre-event goers will find Café Rouge invaluable.
Georgia Hall, Café Rouge Brand and Marketing Director comments; “Kingsway has been a journey of love and will set the standard for Café Rouge by bringing Parisian glamour and romance to central London.”
*The beloved bistro first sprang into the UK in 1989, set in authentically Parisian surroundings. Venues are available for groups, corporate and private hire.
