Elemis Freshskin range
Targeted at the younger skin market – the under 25’s, the Elemis Freshskin range comes in strong with a girlie pink or blue colour scheme and efficient sounding products. We’ve got our hands on some of the goodies from the range to review – so let’s start with;
Softly Softly, the gentle moisturiser. Since this is aimed at the under 25 market, there’s no jazzy anti-wrinkle benefits here, just a simple and effective moisturiser, lightly fragranced and easily absorbed. It’s ideal for younger skin as it’s not too rich or thick and although more expensive than Boots store moisturisers, gets teens and twenties started on an effective quality skincare routine. Contains seaweed extract, rosehip and sweet almond oil. Despite being a little older than the target audience for this product range – I like its simplicity and lightness and find it makes a great day moisturiser.
Skin Glow – Exfoliating face wash. This is more of your classic exfoliator with jojoba beads and cherry powder. For me the pieces were a little too big, these days I prefer a micro-exoliator or glycolic acid type peel. If you like the St Ives Apricot type scrubs with the large pieces of exfoliatant then you will enjoy using this scrub.
Peachy Perfect Gentle Face Wash. A lovely, fragrant and gently foaming wash – despite being named Peachy Perfect, doesn’t actually contain any peach 🙂 It does have hydrating chicory extract, conditioning elderflower and skin-awakening lemon though. Great for using in the shower or to take the day off. Suitable for normal, combination and teen/twenties skin but possibly a little drying for those with dry, dehydrated or mature skin.
There are loads more products in the range including some more mattifying and purifying products. You can find the full range here at TimetoSpa
