Chelcee Grimes Stars in Barbour International’s Latest Campaign Around Authenticity and Originality
Barbour International celebrates the second instalment of their SS22 “Journey of an Original” film series and campaign with Chelcee Grimes – singer/songwriter, footballer, TV presenter and radio host from Liverpool.
The next chapter of Barbour International’s “Journey of an Original” campaign and film series explores a behind-the-scenes look at the multi-hyphen and multi-talented, Chelcee Grimes.
The campaign film celebrates originality by shining a light on Chelcee’s captivating journey to success. Showcasing a look into her world, the film brings together a blend of experiences that explore Chelcee’s inspirational past. The film is set in a natural environment for Chelcee, a football training ground, cutting from shots of her training today, mixed with archive home footage of her younger self playing football with her dad. Her voiceover guides the narrative, reminiscing the highlights and obstacles of her football career whether it be playing for the likes of Everton, Spurs and Fulham, or her skills as a songwriter, writing songs for the likes of Dua Lipa and Kylie Minogue. The film underlines her journey as an original, expressing her determination to succeed and unapologetically mastering her skills as a musician and footballer despite her critics.
