#Campaign4clarity – Organic September draws attention to false claims of “organicness”
OK I know it’s probably not a word….
Nourish – the premium organic beauty brand – tell us “Organic has become the buzzword in beauty for brands to use, but it doesn’t always stand true. Unlike organic food, there is currently no legal standard in place for organic beauty, although normal trading standards law should prevent false claims being made”
At Nourish we are passionate about producing high quality, organic & honest products, so we are excited to be able to help make change within the industry.
Cool – You can read more about Campaign for Clarity here> http://www.soilassociation.org
But more importantly – how do you make the switch to organic skincare and is it as good as the horrid, chemical laden stuff. Well of course it is! Rich in natural plant based materials it can only be good for your skin.
Here’s an example of where you can make the change.
We swapped Clean & Clear’s Morning Energy Scrub for Nourish’s Kale Exfoliator, bearing in mind it has come to light that the “bursting beads” in the Johnson& Johnson one are damaging to marine life! Don’t just think of yourself when scrubbing – imagine what is going down your drain. Also you can tell the Johnson&Johnson one has probably some artificial colours and even some glitter in there. Not sure how that is good for your skin! The Nourish one just seems richer and more…well…nourishing!
