Volumising Shampoo review – Tigi Catwalk
I’m continuing my quest for the best volumising shampoos and conditioners on the market and today we are going to talk about top haircare and session brand Tigi.
Tigi Catwalk Your Highness Shampoo and conditioner
Sweet Almond Oil is the key ingredient in this posh looking shampoo/conditioner combo. Sometimes volumising shampoos can fall short on the moisture front – hair is often not smoothed or nourished looking as the volume is the focus from the product.
We love this combo, not only for its glamorous packaging but its ability to soften, clean, refresh and lift hair…it really is one of the best volumising shampoos I’ve used.
So about the packaging – it’s dark purple and black with plenty silver writing, giving it a high end feel – you would hope so for that price tag. It’s an unusual style of nozzle I’ve only ever seen on expensive salon brands, a twist cap that produces a spout at the top. The dosing is very easy, you can get a perfect pea sized amount so it’s easy not to overpour. I love how the bottles look on my bathroom shelf with my other purple goodies.
The product itself is a good consistency – not too runny that it slides off your hand before it reaches your hair and not so thick that it’s difficult to work in and achieve a lather.
I like my hair not only after blow drying but also the next day. I feel the hallmark of a good volumising product is how long the effect lasts and this one is great because hair looks just as good a day after it’s been washed.
